Besides ninjas, I also like those summonmonsters. They don’t appear very often in the anime and some of them haven’t shown up again after just a few scenes. But their appearances are still very impressive.
Tortoise, contractor: Guy
This Tortoise seems to only appear twice. It made its first appearance in a duel between Lee and Sasuke and the second when Guy summoned it as a stepping stone in the air. Although it cannot be seen very often in the anime, it is very hilarious every time it appears.
Scythe Dolly, contractor: Temari
When helping Shikamaru, Temari once summoned Scythe Dolly and seckilled Tayuya, but after that it didn’t show up again. Scythe Dolly wears an eye patch and holds a giant scythe which makes it look very mighty, though it is just a small Kamatari.
Enma, contractor: Hiruzen Sarutobi
As a very composed summonmonster, Enma has fought alongside the Third over many years. It can also become a cudgel. This is its own special ability and is very impressive.
Salamander, contractor: Hanzo
It looks like a salamander with lumps all over its body and it can blow poisonous gas to paralyze enemies.
Dream Tapir, contractor: Danzo
It is a very powerful summonmonster but it appears only for a few times. Legend says that it takes dreams as its food and can open its big mouth and use Fuuton to draw the object in front of it and swallow it up.
